In Contact, Mike is the main character, and he visits his grandmother during the summertime. She has a little local store, and he helps her run it during the summer months. Unfortunately, things aren't what they used to be at her house since she's starting to get up there in years. So, Mike decides to take matters into his own hands and work hard to improve her life. He does so by making connections with her old friends and people who used to be in his grandmother's life.
