Need to Get Around Miami? Try GTA 6 Mapping

The upcoming GTA 6 gaming grid, or world, is supposedly so good, even if you’ve never been to Miami, you’ll be fine.

The revelation comes directly from a former Rockstar Games developer who once visited Miami for the first time and knew all the ins and outs. That’s kind of trippy and insane.

Look, the point of these big box games that feature open and free worlds is authenticity. And apparently, the incoming GTA 6 is going to be so real, that you’ll get to know Miami’s sprawling urban area in a precise way. Who knew Vice City could be of some sort of real benefit to our culture?

During a podcast chat with comedian and actor Dan Soder, the Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption veteran shared an interesting story. He talked about a press tour in Miami for GTA 4. It wasn’t challenging for him, not because he’d been there before, but because he was involved in making GTA: Vice City. The familiarity was comforting. And sort of insane, honestly.

Listen to what he had to say about the experience.

“Me and this guy who worked at Rockstar are driving, and I go, ‘This is starting to feel really familiar,'” he says. “I go, ‘If we go around this corner, there’s a strip club.’ Went around the corner: strip club. I was like, ‘Yo! I know how to get around town.'”

Now, could this mean you’ll only better understand where seedy strip clubs are located? Maybe. Maybe some, or many of you, will prefer this.

What’s better?

Well, aside from improved mapping skills, the long-awaited GTA 6 second trailer is rumored to be only days away.

Why are we saying this?

Back in July, Rockstar Games dropped the Pizza Delivery update for GTA Online, and fans haven’t forgotten.

In that update’s trailer, some sharp-eyed viewers noticed “OCT 4” on the delivery bike’s license plate. This led to plenty of speculation that we could get a new GTA 6 trailer on October 4. If the rumors turn out to be true, the trailer might be here by next Friday.

So yeah, things in GTA 6 land are moving and shaking and the swarms of gamers remain in wait for what may turn out to be the biggest video game of all time.
