While visiting any number of retail stores, you might notice that Halloween is getting earlier and earlier. Whether it’s your local merchandise store, or the big Spirit halloween pop-up store, halloween merchandise is everywhere by the end of August.

Slasher games. Horror games are a big deal. There far better than most recent slasher films. The jump scares are typically unrivaled. So by our estimation, it’s never too early to game out to some truly terrifying plays.

Although fear is subjective to some degree, we feel there are three horror games that stand a bit above the rest. At the very least, these are must-play slasher games ripe with bloody graphics, creepy audio, and of course, freakishly terrifying jump scares.
