Modern Warfare 2 Back in Fans Graces with Gun Game Announcement

In just over a week. Modern Warfare 2 begins. This should be an exciting time for Activision, however, lingering dissension fostering wide=spread apprehension regarding the lack of Gunfight in the second season.

But alas, Activision found a way to swoop in and spread the joy.

Today, a Call of Duty gamer got the party started when they asked, “if CoD drops gun game, I’m making a vid. I love that mode.”

The seemingly innocuous Tweet resulted in a pretty exciting response from Actisiion brass, who essentially said it is coming back with season 2.

The Tweet garnered tons of positive attention and moved many disgruntled CoD gamers into a more blissful mood.

The news revived hope in CoD.

Gun Game mode is a fast-paced, electrifying, highly spirited playing mode that is unique to other aspects of the game. Clearly, the mode is beloved by many for it’s compelling action sequences that keep the heart racing. And its multiplayer, which makes it even more exciting.

Infinity Ward has confirmed that Modern Warfare season 2 will launch on Wednesday, February 15th. So far, there doesn’t seem to be any obstacles that could push this date. Originally, rumors surfaced that a two week delay was possible, but this no longer appears to be the case. The launch will happen concurrently with Warzone 2 season 2’s launch.

The Modern Warfare finale had Alex lagging behind to help annihilate Bakov’s chemical factory. He fell to his end (he died, folks). But then apparently he came back sans a leg.

So expect more dramas to play out in season 2.

To such news, we say…
