Gamers can be a mercurial type. Or, should we say, moody. In the case of the new “big store button” drama, however, the gamers may have legit grievances.
There’s a new Xbox dashboard rolling out right now. Xbox is excited, but not everyone shares their sentiment.
The sometimes minor updates, which offer nuances to the gaming dashboard, include a replacement for the previous “Browse the Game” button. The new “Browse the Store” button directs gamers to the Microsoft Store. The old Browse the Game button” tossed you into “My Games & Apps.”
To be clear, not everyone is experiencing this change. And it’s possible with all the angry hoopla that Microsoft never fully rolls it out. Who knows? We don’t. It may be an inevitable change that Xbox fans have to live with.
But Xbox has said it’s looking for feedback on its new dashboard, so odds are, the angry reactions will have an affect one way or the other.
