“Mainstream” Video Games With Adult Ratings (We Don’t Often See It)

The label “mainstream” is a bit of a loose term in the video gaming industry. Let’s face it, video games are racy, often violent, sometimes gory, and even deliberately horrific. That’s gaming and we’re accustomed to these experiences. We also understand that Steam has adult games, so there’s also that.

However, most of these games receive a “mature” rating. But sometimes, a game crosses too many lines and it receives an Adults Only rating.

So which mainstream games are Adults Only? Some are obvious, some are less so.

Lance Reddick’s Death Felt Throughout Gaming Sphere

Lance Reddick passed away this week at the age of 60. His passing sent shockwaves throughout Tinseltown and beyond. And although he was best known for his role as Cedrick Daniels in The Wire, Reddick’s death also impacts the gaming community.

Daniels was the voioce of Commander Zavala in Destiny games. He was the vangaurd of Destiny games. Beyond that, Daniels reportedly loved gaming himself.
